According to Rigorth, environmental art is an answer to a deep longing to feel at home again. In a way, he brings the forest back to the people. Numerous international projects in Australia, the USA, China, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and Denmark testify to his virtuoso handling of fibre, wood and stone.

 

Besides land art projects he creates sculptures and installations in public spaces and works as a curator for exhibitions, projects and residencies. He also is co-founder of the International Forest Art Association Darmstadt and a member of the Darmstädter Sezession.
